On the road to Compostela

Synopsis

Every year, when Spring blos­soms, thou­sands of walk­ers set off from every­where in Europe. Some come from the North and the East — Ger­mans, Bel­gians, Poles, Swiss, Aus­tri­ans — who meet the French walk­ers on the his­toric roads of Paris, Veze­lay or the Puy en Velay. Oth­ers from the South — Ital­ians– who walk up the famous Via Romea, the Ancient Medit­er­anean route which is com­mon to the pil­grim­ages of Saint Peter in Roma and  San­ti­ago de Compostela.
