Synopsis

This film exposes the indige­nous peo­ples and the tragedy of the fore–  told extinc­tion of their cul­ture that they have been sub­jected to in the  last 500 years. Mak­suara shows the knowl­edge of Native Brazil­ians.  They have lived in the jun­gle in com­plete har­mony with nature, through  a respect­ful rela­tion, with­out destroy­ing it, since far before the white  man arrived. A Poem-Film about Native Brazil­ians in the year 2006 –  in all their Glory, as well as their Mis­ery and Abandonment.
