Synopsis

The cir­cus “Fei Fei” trav­els the roads of the Chi­nese province of Shanxi to try to live this tra­di­tional activ­ity of pop­u­lar enter­tain­ment. But the eco­nomic and social devel­op­ments of the coun­try that the pub­lic are not always numer­ous, and rolling everde­fec­tive. Between shows and travel, car­ni­val atmos­phere and vehi­cles in dis­tress by the road­side, moments of joy, of pain or fatigue, the life of the com­pany is there­fore fac­ing the harsh liv­ing con­di­tions of rural China. A metaphor for con­tem­po­rary rural China …
