Synopsis

Gilberto Gil, a Brazil­ian musi­cian and the for­mer Min­is­ter of Cul­ture of his coun­try keeps on con­tra­dict­ing the logic of Brazil­ian soci­ety. With­out him, music would not be what it is today and some strug­gles for just causes wouldn’t have come out into the open as they had. This excep­tional man whose life has been moti­vated by both music and com­mit­ment has put his art to the ser­vice of his ideas and his ideas to the ser­vice of his art while keep­ing a cer­tain enter­tain­ing vision of life.
